Family Haven located in Mooroopna provides a safe space where parents and carers and their children are welcome with no referral or appointment.
The brief
The most important element requested for the Haven Garden was to create a safe play environment for a range of activities that offered soft open surfaces to explore that created a sense of fun and play.
How we met the brief
The garden design created a soft and open mobility for active and curious children. Firstly with a generous circular lawn and sandpits. The children’s garden featured a textured gravel circular pathways that offered a continuous circuit to explore the open space that was filled with sensory plants that offered children texture, colour and aromatic characteristics for children to explore and interact with while engaging with the space
Client feedback
The garden has offered families and their children a save and protected space for all of there needs throughout the changing seasons. The garden layout and sensory plants engages play, laughter and interest. We are very happy with the garden and all it offers to the families that visit with there children.
